Tracy James

Fitness Leader

Prior to teaching, Tracy worked in Marketing/Advertising and holds a Bachelors degree in Marketing and an MBA from the Paul Merage School of Business of UC Irvine.  Being a fitness enthusiast after her own personal weight-loss and transformation, she began teaching group fitness in 2008 and holds a Primary Group Exercise Certification through AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America).  She holds specialty certifications including: Schwinn Indoor Cycling, PiYo Strength, Turbo Kick, and a Nutrition Advisor Certification throughFiTour. She also has experience in teaching Pilates and Strength & Conditioning Classes.

In addition to teaching fitness classes, Tracy is a Health and Wellness Advisor for NSA Juice Plus.  She enjoys spending time with her family, healthy gourmet, singing, and helping others reach their goals of living a healthier lifestyle.

Kinzie Jones has been teaching kickboxing for 3 years.  Kickboxing combines everything she loves when exercising: cardio, strength, and flexibility.  Kinzie loves motivating people, both young and old, to break out of their shells and become STRONG and FIT!  Each kickboxing class burns up to 800-1000 calories.

Kinzie is married and has 4 children.  She is originally from Minnesota – you will notice her accent!  She has a teaching degree in early childhood special education.  Kinzie loves spending time with family, running, and hiking.

Dawn Baranski

Fitness Leader

She is a certified Group Exercise Instructor through NETA (National Exercise Trainers Association) since 2007. Dawn has specialty certificates in Schwinn Cycling, R.I.P.P.E.D., CPR and AED.  Some of her experience with teaching is in Boot Camp, Spin, Resistance Training, Interval Training, Step Aerobics, and Gluts/Abs.

Dawn is originally from the Midwest….Naperville, IL.  She relocated to Rancho Santa Margarita 2 ½ years ago with her family.  She is married with 2 children and has a Chocolate Labrador Retriever.  Dawn is currently a Mathematics teacher at the middle school level in the Irvine Unified School District.

Paul Daniels

Fitness Leader, Kettle Bell Boot Camp Instructor & Training Coach

An eight year veteran of the U. S. Marine Corps, owner Paul Daniels began studying the martial arts in his early teens. He currently holds a 2nd Degree Black Belt in the KIADO-RYU martial arts system as well as a certified Aerobics Instructor and Personal Trainer & RKC (Russian Kettlebell Instructor).   Building on his experience as Captain of both the gymnastics and soccer team in high school, Paul A. Daniels continued his education in physical fitness and self-defense, training in the Marine Corps.

While competing on the Martial Arts Circuit, he was a top ranked National tournament Competitor.  Since becoming a Russian Kettlebell Instructor, in 2005 his commitment to himself and his clients Paul’s dedication to excellence was rewarded with his selection to Russian Kettlebell Team Leader position by Pavel Tsatsouline.  Paul Daniels is a constant example of the benefits of hard work and commitment. He is considered one of the top Cardio-kick boxing Instructors, Personal Trainers and Russian Kettlebell Instructor in Orange County. His teaching formats are innovative, intense and always fun.

Claire GradClaire Grad

Fitness Leader

Claire Grad has actively practiced physical fitness and sports  for more than 20 years.  For the past two years, she has taught group fitness classes.  Currently, she teaches Indoor Cycle, Pilates, and Yoga.

Claire has successfully completed certifications and/or workshops in the following areas:

·         AAFA – Group Exercise Instructor certified

·         AAFA/LA Fitness International – Mat Pilates

·         AAFA – Indoor Cycle

·         AAFA/LA Fitness International – Bodyworks Choreography

·         CPR and AED

Claire holds a Master’s degree in Writing from DePaul University and a Bachelors degree in Advertising/minoring in Creative Writing from Bradley University.  Previously, she taught Writing and Communications at Penn State University and Northwestern Business College in Chicago.

By combining her love of fitness and teaching, Claire hopes to instill the same passion for healthy living and physical fitness, in her students.  Other interests include family time, traveling, hiking, reading, writing, teaching elementary art classes, and continuing her fitness education.

Julianne Land

Fitness LeaderJulianne

Julianne discovered Pilates and immediately loved the benefits. Having a dance and choreography background, Julianne knew that a career with Pilates was the perfect combination with dance. In 2007, Julianne started her Stott Pilates Certification program through the John Garey Pilates Studio in Long Beach, CA. Julianne is also certified in Pre/Post Natal Pilates. She continues to advance her Pilates training through additional workshops and seminars.

As Julianne will say…her first love is Pilates, but to add to the mix of certifications would include Zumba Fitness (including Zumba Gold, Zumbatomic and Zumba Toning), AFAA Group Fitness Certification, TRX Suspension Training and Les Mills BodyStep.

In October 2010, Julianne was selected out of hundreds of auditions to participate in the Zumba Fitness Exhilarate DVD collection.

Julianne’s passion is to share the wonderful world of Pilates with as many people possible, hopefully, helping them to realize the tremendous benefits of Pilates in a fun, enthusiastic way.

Valerie Ginsberg

Yoga Fitness Leader

Valerie is a registered Yoga Instructor and has three years of Yoga teaching experience. In her yoga class she will teach a Vinyasa-style yoga class, poses will flow from one to another in conjunction with the breath.  The classes will help improve muscle tone, flexibility, strength and stamina.  You will reduce stress and tension, boost your self esteem and stimulate your immune system, but most of all create a sense of calm and well being from with in.  (Who doesn’t need this!?!?!?)

Galina Denzel, Core Connect Class

Galina has a huge passion for restorative exercise, health and nutrition and she loves helping her clients get fit and happy.  She is an NSCA certified personal trainer and Bulgarian Sports Academy certified personal trainer, group trainer and nutrition coach. Galina is a sought after pre and post-natal expert, author of ‘’Fit Mommy Secrets’’, ‘’The Art of Real Food’’ and the forthcoming  ‘’Man on Top’’. She believes that proper movement and nutrition are at the base of your success – whether you want to lose weight, conquer chronic pain or get lean and strong. She inspires you to learn, develop a connection with your body and achieve true health – inside and out!

Shoshanna Cairns, Tae Bo Instructor

Shoshanna Cairns is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and a certified Tae Bo® Fitness Instructor and has been involved in the health and fitness industry for over twelve years. She is focused and competitive and has been since her youth, whether it be playing various sports outside, running cross country races in high school, running 5K races now or weight training, which she started in high school and continued through college with various courses. During college at Trinity International University in the Chicago area, she played on the tennis team and afterward pursued personal training along with the Tae Bo® certification to teach Tae Bo® fitness classes in order to help people attain their health and fitness goals. While working full time as a Sr. Administrative Assistant, she would do personal training and teach Tae Bo® part-time but now she is available to train and teach full-time, which is her love and passion.  She has and continues to train with the creator of Tae Bo®, Billy Blanks®, and his daughter, Shellie Blanks-Cimarosti, assisting at Tae Bo® Certification camps and Recertification camps, where she continues to grow as an instructor and trainer. She has been blessed with opportunities to be a part of three Tae Bo® DVD shoots and most recently the Tae Bo® TV Fitness shoots, which are half hour workouts posted on the Tae Bo® TV website.

Philosophy

With all of the training and experience she has, she knows what it takes to push above and beyond to get results and to work with others to achieve the same. A training motto she likes to use for herself and clients is: Strong Mind and Spirit creates a Strong Body; Strong Heart and Spirit creates that Strong Will to get and stay Healthy. Working out and eating healthy is not just a program, it’s a lifestyle, be ready to change your life. Her passion is helping others achieve their goals, not just physical goals, but changing from the inside out. If you are ready to change your life, be motivated and inspired, not just physically but mentally/spiritually as well, then be ready to train hard. Since training with Billy, she also enjoys boxing and can incorporate that into sessions for those interested in hitting the punch mitts and/or punching bag. Boxing is a great cardio and core workout.

Free Time

Besides working out and doing Tae Bo®, Shoshanna enjoys spending time with her husband, going to church, going on hikes with their beautiful English Shepherd, Aria (who also loves to watch TV and “talk” to the dogs and any animals that appear on TV), hanging out with their Russian Blue cat, Toby, and she enjoys going on nice, peaceful trail rides through Whiting on her Appendix Quarter Horse, Bubba.
